EIRI will be part of this year's Designblok!
The international design showcase will take place from 2th to 6th of October, 2024. This year's theme is youth, which is why we will be presenting a collection of denim pants. Denim, in all its forms, has always been a symbol of the young generation, nonconformity, and the desire to forge one's own path. These ideas have been embodied in the new D O L E collection by fashion designer Klára Holanová, who works under the EIRI brand. Once exclusively a men's garment, pants are now an essential part of every wardrobe, worn daily and for all occasions. However, finding a pair that fits well, feels comfortable, and looks unique or original can be challenging. "We see pants, or what we call the D O L E garment, as both a highly functional item and a sculptural artifact," says designer Klára Holanová.
EIRI in a new light
The new collection comes hand in hand with a brand new visual identity, which will also debut at Prague's Designblok. The new design was created by renowned graphic designer Matěj Činčera. "Conceptual thinking, keeping up with current trends in graphic design, and a thorough understanding of working with materials are the main reasons we chose Matěj," comments Klára Holanová on the collaboration. The brand's new look reflects its core philosophy: minimalism, timelessness, and soft color tones. It also takes into account the idea of stepping outside conventional formats and emphasizes the use of materials that are authentic and unadored. The raw and utilitarian character of paper perfectly complements the brand's visual style and identity.
